ALAMEDA | CAMBADOS
The Alameda apartment covers the entire fourth floor of a central block of apartments in a coastal town and enjoys unbeatable views over the Arousa estuary.
The intervention was focused on the idea of integral rehabilitation, including the exterior access doors, which were made with white lacquered wood boarding according to the interior space.
Free space
Faced with a starting situation with a very fragmented space, the project approach was to achieve rooms with a more diaphanous character incorporating circulation spaces in the rooms.
Open to the landscape
Taking advantage of the fact that the house had views to the four orientations, the reform was proposed to connect all the rooms of the day area to create a single, continuous, open space, diaphanous and open to the landscape.
Warmith and singularity
The color and textures of the finishes take prominence in the decorative details that bring a note of warmth and uniqueness to each of the spaces.
The white tone was the foundation of the interior design concept on which the rest of the decoration of the house was built.
